CHEERLEADING

The Mount Everett Cheerleading Team consists of a group of students who hold sportsmanship and school spirit in the highest esteem. The team is coached by Kari Giordano, who competed with her own high school team on a national level.

Mount Everett's cheerleaders motivate the crowd for both girls' and boys' varsity basketball games, and spend their practice time building the skills needed to compete regionally in the coming seasons. The team focuses on stunts, jumps, dance, tumbling, and cheers, within the National Cheerleaders Association guidelines, and participates in NCA home and away camps.

Try-outs are held at the start of the winter athletic season, and any girls in grades 8-12 are encouraged to attend regardless of experience or ability level.
