SOCCER

The Mount Everett Soccer teams offer an 18 game schedule for both the varsity and junior varsity teams, as well as a modified 7th and 8th grade team schedule in some years. The last ten years have seen the strongest teams in recent memory, as the team has qualified for the Western Massachusetts post-season tournaments seven times, culminating in post-season wins in 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007.

The coaching staff is led by head varsity coach Jesse Carpenter (class of 1992, varsity soccer team member in 1991) and Josh King (2000, 1997-1999). Coach Carpenter is in his eleventh year, and Coach King is in his third year. In 1999, Coach King was the sweeper for the first Mount Everett soccer team ever to qualify for the Western Massachusetts post-season tournament.
