Dear Families,
There has been an increase in the number of COVID cases and it is impacting our district, specifically on the Sheffield campus. We made the decision to close one of the PK classrooms from Tuesday to Friday this week, to contain the spread given the number of cases specific to that classroom. This decision could be made because of the age of the students and that PK is not a mandated grade level.
If your child(ren) is sick and/or have symptoms consistent with COVID, please keep him/her home. Much like the flu, this will help to limit the transmission of the virus. Additionally, please feel free to take the safety precautions you deem necessary at this time. Masks are available here at school, if needed and if you want your child to access them.

Ha habido un aumento en la cantidad de casos de COVID y está impactando a nuestro distrito, específicamente en el campus de Sheffield. Tomamos la decisión de cerrar una de las aulas de PK de martes a viernes de esta semana, para contener la propagación dada la cantidad de casos específicos de esa aula. Esta decisión podría tomarse debido a la edad de los estudiantes y a que PK no es un nivel de grado obligatorio.
Si su(s) hijo(s) está(n) enfermo(s) y/o tiene síntomas compatibles con COVID, manténgalo en casa. Al igual que la gripe, esto ayudará a limitar la transmisión del virus. Además, no dude en tomar las precauciones de seguridad que considere necesarias en este momento. Las máscaras están disponibles aquí en la escuela, si es necesario y si desea que su hijo tenga acceso a ellas.
