Thank you to all our SBRSD families who were able to attend our Community Conversation with the Superintendent last week and/or the Special School Committee Meeting on August 19th. The input we receive from our school community is very important to us and we try to collect as much information, data, and feedback as possible in an effort to make the most informed decisions.
As promised, I am attaching the Administrative Teams recommendations presented to the School Committee last week, and the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) #1. We have updated the FAQ#1 as a result of the public forums and stakeholder meetings last week, and will continue to do so as more information and guidance is received. SC Recommendation & FAQ#1
Also, in an effort to hear from our families and students about their educational experience last year and to get a sense of how people are feeling about coming back to school this year, we ask that you fill out the short parent and student surveys (if applicable). They will only take a couple of minutes each, but our hope is to use the information to help us prepare and support our school community in as many ways as possible both at school and at home. We look forward to sharing the results of the surveys as well as the strategies we plan to employ to address the themes identified in the survey results.
