
6th grade students officially "signed on" as Mount Everett Eagles this morning in a special ceremony welcoming them to the middle school. Mr. Carpenter demonstrated handshake etiquette before recognizing each student as they accepted their new role in the Mount Everett family.











Yesterday, Dr. Bill Daggett attended our Opening Day as our special guest speaker and some of our students joined us in welcoming back and introducing staff members. Thank you, to elementary student Rowyyn Frankel, who did a great job with her speech!

The Class of '73 just held their 50th reunion! Roughly 40 classmates and 15 spouses traveled from places such as Alaska, California, Washington State, Georgia, Colorado, Michigan, and even Switzerland to reconnect with their old classmates.

We can't believe there are only 4 more weeks until the first day of school! It feels like it was just yesterday that some of our students were returning from a 10-day educational tour that took them to Florence, Verona, Venice, Assisi, Rome, Pisa, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Capri! We are looking forward to seeing smiling faces walk through our halls again soon.




Seven Mount Everett artists will be featured in the "How Shall We Live" exhibit at the Berkshire Art Center on August 4th, for First Friday in Pittsfield! Ella Robitaille, Jade Brown, Brody Kinna, Joe Giumarro, Madison Van Deusen, Lucia Cicerchia, and Siobhan Fedel answered a call for climate art organized by Living the Change Berkshires.
The opening reception is this Friday, August 4th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Berkshire Art Center in Pittsfield-- 141 North Street. NAHS member Ella Robitaille's piece was chosen for the poster design!


This past year we watched our Seniors gain confidence by taking Early College classes!


This year, our students enjoyed taking Early College classes so much, most of them recommended that all Mount Everett students should experience an Early College class before graduating.


Another successful Youth Soccer and Basketball camp week comes to an end. Thank you to the volunteer coaches and counselors for providing SBRSD youth with great Athletics programming.







220 college credits were earned for FREE at Mount Everett this past school year, thanks to our Early College program!


During our first year implementing the Early College program at Mount Everett, 80% of our Seniors graduated with college credit at no cost!

The last few days of school have been so exciting! These past two days our faculty, students, and community members had the opportunity to work with members from Transcend where we had the chance to talk about ways we can help improve our school together!

It's a UME annual tradition for students in grade 5 to prepare the school garden beds for the next "crop" of 5th graders. This year's fifth graders are getting the soil ready for pumpkin seeds which next year's classes will harvest.



Mount Everett held its annual Middle School Dance following the 8th grade Recognition Night. Thank you to the Sophomore class for hosting such a fun evening and to the volunteer teacher chaperones.











Congratulations to Mount Everett 8th-grade students on their graduation from middle school! We are so proud of all of your hard work and accomplishments. We know that you will continue to do great things in high school and beyond.







Earlier in the year, Anatomy and Physiology students dissected owl pellets and analyzed the small mammal bones which they extracted.





Seventh-grade students tested their Roller Coaster Designs in Mrs. Von Ruden's class this morning. They explored Science concepts such as force and energy to create their models.
