The Social Justice League visited Mass MoCA and the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum on Friday. Students were introduced to art that addresses racism and classism. Wendy Red Starr's work addressing the depiction of Native Americans and their traditions and culture struck a cord with students. Here the group is depicted with Kelly Rae Adams' Forever in Your Debt, a work of art that speaks to the inequity surrounding student loan debt. At the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, students were able to see where the great suffragette was born and raised, and they learned about the trials and tribulations faced by Anthony and her contemporaries in getting the 19th amendment passed.
