Ms. Aldam and Ms. McEvoy paired up AP and 9th-grade English students for some pre-Thanksgiving activities. Students rotated through various stations to receive a swipe of color on their actual hand or paper turkey hand.

Mount Everett's National Honor Society hosted a Veteran's Day Dinner this weekend. Students prepared and served a meal to help show their gratitude for our community's veterans.
The Mt. Everett productions of The Life of King Henry V have their showtimes this week on our campus Thursday 11/9 at 7pm and Saturday 11/11 at 2pm and 7pm.
Next week, they are performing at Shakespeare and Co. Tina Packer playhouse on Friday 11/17 at 6:15pm.

Elementary students were treated to "It's Okay to be Different" performed live onstage by The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, using puppets and music at the Mahaiwe Theatre.
Sixth-grade Band and Choir students had their first concert last night. Special thanks to the high school students who filled in the missing band parts and cheered on their young classmates.

Students in Ms. Von Ruden's STEM class used the principles of Hyrdraulics to create robots that can move. This project culminated in an epic robot battle.

The Mt. Everett Robotics program stole the show last night at Flying Cloud Institute’s STEAM Challenge Night at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield. Presenting alongside representatives from General Dynamics and the Berkshire Innovation Center, Mt. Everett students Ben Vella, Sophie DelMasto, and Matt Bennett demonstrated how to fly a drone and drive a robot to pick up and deliver objects. Young students from all over the county attended last night’s event and at some points were 10-15 deep in line waiting for a chance to work with our Mt. Everett students. Many parents took the opportunity to scan QR codes to watch Mt. Everett’s underwater drone and model rockets in action as well.
Our Transcend Core Team, Design Team, and Community group have been working hard this week! Our community team came up with words and phrases that describe what makes them feel proud about our school community, and our design and core team focused on the types of outcomes they want to achieve while being part of Transcend's Rural School Design Cohort!
