
Students in Ms. Giordano's Graphic Design class designed and pressed/screened their own shirts. The class, along with Digital Design and Marketing, put forward their own designs for the 2024 SBRSD shirts which the Graphic Design students have been busy silkscreening and preparing for next year.






Student designer, Jay T. Seward-Dailey, created a poster for Sheffield Saves Repair Workshop happening in June. You can spot his design throughout Sheffield!


Last week, Spanish IV students took a Culinary field trip where they sampled Mexican and French foods in Great Barrington.



The seventh-grade students went to the Audubon Sanctuary in Lenox yesterday to investigate signs of disturbances in nature.










The Great Barrington Rotary Club and the Interact Club collaborated and planted over 150 pollinator-native plants on the Mount Everett campus during Rotary Day of Service this Saturday!

The Southern Berkshire Child Care Preschool classroom recently learned about germination by growing peas. The children planted peas, watered them, and then made their own trellis to support their peas as they grew. Once they grew, they brought them home to plant and will enjoy some fresh garden peas.




Select SBRSD students participated in the Special Olympics at Monument Mountain today with Mount Everett High School helpers. Students brought home many impressive medals and memories!











Mount Everett's Sixth Grade is working on a project involving measurement and data. This project is dual-purpose in that it gives the students hands-on experiences applying the curriculum to real-world situations. The students also gain an increased level of responsibility and respect for one another while collaborating and working with students of all ages.







Students from Mrs. Mercier's Advisory and the Pace program visited Mystic Aquarium with SEL curriculum in mind. Students explored aspects of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills. Students were encouraged to identify their own emotions, integrate personal and social identities, demonstrate and use stress management strategies, set collective goals, develop interest and a sense of purpose, and collaborate to use their problem-solving skills. Students watched a California sea lion show, explored the touch tanks with lion sharks and sting rays, and visited the many tanks and sea animals.











The UME talent show was a hit! Great job to all of the performers and crew members.











Mount Everett's National Honor Society inducted its new members tonight after speeches from NHS President Michael Devoti, Principal Jesse Carpenter, and guest speaker, Paul O'Brien. Congratulations to all members of NHS.
