Innovation: Manufacturing

Innovation Pathway: Manufacturing

3D Printing & Design:

Mt. Everett Regional School's Innovation Pathway in Manufacturing provides students with hands-on experience using the same technologies and design processes found in today's advanced manufacturing industries. Students develop engineering and problem-solving skills by learning Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D design and computer-aided modeling before bringing their ideas to life through 3D printing. With a fleet of 12 3D printers available, students have the opportunity to rapidly prototype, test, and refine their designs while gaining valuable experience in additive manufacturing. The program also introduces students to laser cutting and CNC machining, allowing them to create precision parts and explore a wide range of manufacturing techniques used in modern industry.

Robotics & Aerospace

Beyond manufacturing, the Innovation Pathway offers exciting opportunities for students to expand their engineering knowledge through robotics and aerospace courses. In robotics classes, students design, build, and program competitive robots while developing teamwork, critical thinking, and coding skills. The aerospace course challenges students to design, build, and fly drones and model rockets, introducing them to principles of aerodynamics, flight systems, and engineering design. Together, these experiences prepare students for college and careers in engineering, advanced manufacturing, robotics, aerospace, and other high-demand STEM fields while encouraging creativity, innovation, and real-world problem solving.
